West High School Class of ‘74 Pre-Reunion Gathering
Attention Friends of West High School: The Class of 1974 is holding their 50th reunion on Saturday, August 24th. For those ’74 grads who cannot make it to the Saturday night event, or just want to spend more time reminiscing with friends from WHS, Michael “Dukey” Smith, Class of ’74, is hosting a Friday night gathering.
The event will be on Friday, August 23rd, from 7pm to midnight at Roger’s Rockin’ Blues Cafe (aka Roger’s – Our Neighborhood Dive Bar), 8817 Kingston Pike. You are invited, along with members of the Class of ’73, Class of ’75, and for that matter, any West alumni who would like to get together with old friends and perhaps make some new ones!
The cost is only $10 at the door. Roger’s has a fairly limited food menu, so you may want to grab something before. It should be a great time!

National Fox Day is on Thursday, August 8th! Like Fox Body Mustangs?Bring your Fox if you have one. If you don’t own one, don’t worry, all Ford Mustangs are welcome! Stop by Carolina Ale House, 9045 Kingston Pike at 6pm for a meet and greet, and hang out for a couple of hours for conversation and food.
